BMW is breaking out more special editions, with the
2013 X6 Performance Edition and 2013 6 Series Coupe Frozen Silver Edition. Just 100 copies of the X6 Performance Edition will be produced, while the 6 Series Coupe Frozen Silver will be limited to 55 units. Each model comes with a healthy serving of premium equipment, but what you’re really paying for is the exclusivity.
The
special-edition 2013 BMW 6 Series is the latest car to feature a
BMW frozen paint scheme, and starts at $99,295 for the 650i Coupe, and $102,695 for the all-wheel-drive model. The same Frozen Silver finish used on the
ultra-limited M3 Competition Edition returns, gracing the 6 Series coupe’s sheetmetal for a unique matte silver look. The special paint is joined by contrasting black mirror caps, 20-inch bi-color Ferric Gray and gloss M Performance alloy wheels, and all the exterior upgrades that come with the executive and M Sport package. The interior receives Gray Poplar wood trim and Black Nappa leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, a head-up display, M Steering wheel, anthracite Alcantara headliner, and M door sill guards.
Deliveries of the X6 Performance Edition will begin mid-December, while deliveries of the 6 Series Frozen Silver Edition start mid-January next year.
