BMW is breaking out more special editions, with the
2013 X6 Performance Edition and 2013 6 Series Coupe Frozen Silver Edition. Just 100 copies of the X6 Performance Edition will be produced, while the 6 Series Coupe Frozen Silver will be limited to 55 units. Each model comes with a healthy serving of premium equipment, but what you’re really paying for is the exclusivity.
The special-edition X6 will be offered in two trim levels: the 2013 BMW X6 xDrive35i starting at $81,695 and the 2013 BMW X6 xDrive50i starting at $92,895. Each X6 comes equipped with the M Performance Package engine upgrade, which boosts output by 15 hp and 30 lb-ft of torque in the xDrive35i; and 40 hp and 30 lb-ft in the xDrive50i. The exterior is finished in Individual Pearl Silver metallic paint, and is accentuated by 20-inch alloy wheels and black chrome exhaust tips. Inside, the X6 Performance Edition gets Black Alcantara- and leather-upholstered seats and door panels with Sakhir Orange contrast stitching and a dash and center console wrapped in BMW Individual Carbon Leather trim.
Deliveries of the X6 Performance Edition will begin mid-December, while deliveries of the 6 Series Frozen Silver Edition start mid-January next year.
