"Kid Rocket" Set For Martinsville Truck Run

Two-time World of Outlaws Late Model Series champion Josh Richards will take to the Martinsville Speedway in the No. 5 Wauters Motorsports Ford Saturday, for the running of the Kroger 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race.

“This is a great opportunity for me to be back at the track and race in some good equipment,” said Richards. “Richie Wauters is known for having fast trucks and has a great group of guys that work with him. I’m excited to be behind the wheel of a truck and really appreciate the opportunity Wauters Motorsports is giving me.”

Richards has one previous NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start on the .526-mile short track in Martinsville, Virginia. Wauters has three Top-5and seven Top-10 finishes in his tenure as a crew chief at Martinsville Speedway.
