Parker Kligerman will have a full schedule behind the wheel at Michigan International Speedway this weekend, as he makes his first start in the No. 7 Red Horse Racing Toyota Tundra in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, in addition to practicing and qualifying the No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Sprint Cup Series Dodge for Sam Hornish, Jr.
Kligerman was scheduled to fill-in for Hornish prior to signing with Red Horse Racing last week, and while he knows he will have very little time on his hands this weekend, said he is confident he will have no issues juggling ghe duel schedules.
"I've done a lot of testing in the Cup car before, so it should be a seamless transition," he said. "Aside from having little time between practice sessions, there should be no issues with the schedule. I'm a professional race car driver and my job at the end of the day is to worry about driving as fast as possible. So that's what I'm going to do."
