Audi sports cars Overview (super car)
Audi is a German car maker specializing in luxury vehicles with an emphasis on technology, speed, and comfort from supermini to crossover SUVs in various body styles and price ranges that are marketed under the Audi brand that could meet your various needs. Example 1: Audi sports cars

The R8 is the first production Audi bearing the name and genes of a successful racing sportscar and is therefore an excellent base from which to build up Audi's first big customer sport programme. Audi R8 is a racing sportscar equipped with high-calibre technology and the typical Audi qualities, but which is nevertheless easy to handle.

The heart of the R8 is a high-revving 4.2-liter engine that delivers 430 horsepower at 7,900 rpm. Peak torque is 316 lb-ft from 4,500 to 6,000 rpm, with no less than 90 per cent of this output maintained from 3,500 all the way to 7,600 rpm. The claimed zero-to-62 mph time is 4.6 seconds, though that number is likely conservative.

Throughout the 2008 and 2009 model years, critics applauded Audi for meeting its goal, but still wished for a stronger engine. Audi satisfies their desires in 2010 with the introduction of a 525-horsepower V10 engine -- the same as in the 2010 Lamborghini Gallardo.  In addition to its out-of-this-world exterior design, the 2010 Audi R8 pictures is praised for its combination of lightening speed, sporty handling dynamics and daily driving comfort. Plus, its cabin is roomy and offers comfortable, supportive seating for two.

For 2012, the R8 is a 2-door, 2-passenger sports coupe, or convertible, available in 8 trims, ranging from the 4.2 Coupe quattro to the 5.2 Spyder quattro Auto R tronic. The 2012 R8's closest competitors include the Aston Martin DBS, the Ferrari California, and the Rolls-Royce Phantom.
