Lamborghini Gallardo will have special version

The Italian supercar company will launch another special version for Lamborghini Gallardo, before they let the current Lamborghini Gallardo system " retirement ".

Car and Driver magazine reveal that the designers of Lamborghini company will create the last special version for Lamborghini Gallardo in this year, although specific unknow about this supercar.

Most likely is a rear driven version of the LP570-4 structure. There would be a Lamborghini Gallardo LP570 Superleggera or Lamborghini Gallaro LP570-2 Super Trofeo Stradale.

Other options are also thought, including a convertible version of the Gallardo LP570-2 Super Trofeo Stradale. Fans have to wait until 2014 to see alternative models of the Gallardo, which means the current Gallardo need something to create something new until "retirement".


Gallardo 2014 is expected to use four-wheel drive system, and upgraded version of the current Gallardo V10 engine. This engine will power about 600 horsepower with a dual-clutch automatic.

Lamborghini Gallardo debuted in 2003, and then a range of revisions as Superleggera, Spyder Performance, Bicolore, or Super Trofeo. In the first seven years, more than 10,000 units shipped.
