Late next month at the Wynn Las Vegas, Chevrolet will remove the camouflage from its much-discussed, but not-yet-seen 2013 Chevy SS NASCAR Sprint Cup Series entry. The reclusive SS, based on Australia’s Holden Commodore, has been put through a number of on-track tests this season in anticipation of the Speedweek 2013 debut at Daytona International Speedway. But in each of those tests, the car’s distinctive lines have been buried under a nausea-inducing graphics package straight out of a Timothy Leary lecture.
Chevrolet will finally roll-out its mew SS in full NASCAR attire on Nov. 29 in Sin City, becoming the last of NASCAR’s three remaining manufacturers to unveil its reworked 2013 race car.
