McLaren 12C Spider was released to the public

McLaren 12C Spider convertible version was launched the first time at famous Gooding festival with the price at 312.000$ USD.

The body was covered by yellow color, McLaren 12C Spider join in the 12C Couple version and the second version of McLaren. Like the Ferrari 458 Spider, the supercar doesn't use the metal roof and unlike Ferrari 458 Spider does not have glass cover to show the V8 Twin Turbo engine.

The power engine provide the same for both 2 versions 616 horsepower, and the dual-clutch seven-speed gearbox.

Production performance of the Spider version similar to Coupe version with the ability to accelerate from 0 len100 km / h in 3.1 seconds, but the time to accelerate from 0 to 200 km / h then a Spider slower 0, 2 seconds compared Coupe (9 seconds). Maximum speed is 326 km / h.

With a starting price of about $ 312,000, McLaren 12C Spider is cheaper than Ferrari 458 Spider about $ 5,500.

The first cars will be delivered in early 2013.
