The Audi A6 comes in 3.0, 3.2 or 4.2 trim, each named for its engine. The famed Quattro all-wheel drive system is available on 3.2 models and standard on 4.2 and 3.0 supercharged models. A wagon model, the Audi A6 Avant, is offered, but only with the 3.0-liter engine and Quattro system.
Thanks to the 2008 year's addition of a 300-horsepower supercharged V6 and several other updates, the 2009 Audi A6 was already better than ever, but the Audi 2010 A6 model sees even more improvements. The 2010 audi a6 Audi receives a more powerful base engine, while the navigation system is upgraded to include real-time traffic and Audi's latest-generation MMI electronics control system. A pair of sport packages returns to the options list and a heated steering wheel is now included with the Cold Weather package. The 2010 Audi A6 is available in sedan and wagon (Avant) body styles.
The sedan is available in three trim levels that correspond to engine specification: 3.2 Premium, 3.0T Premium and 4.2 Prestige. The Avant comes only in 3.0T Premium guise. There is also a high-performance version known as the S6, which is addressed in a separate model review. Under the hood, we will see a two-litre FSI turbo engine and also a four-cylinder Diesel engine. The S-line version will feature standard Bi-xenon-lights and will be powered by the Lamborghini’s V10 engine, with an output of 450 hp. The Audi A6 will have a top speed limited to 155 mph and will make the 0 to 60 mph sprint in just 6 seconds.
