2011 Bentley Continental Flying Spur
The Flying Spur was one of the catalysts of the reinvention of Bentley, back in 2006 when it and the Continental GT gave the British brand a new entry point into the exotic-luxury realm.

A twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter W-12 engine channels 552 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque in the Spur. The massive power is distributed to the pavement through an all-wheel-drive system and a six-speed automatic capable enough to hurtle the 5,400-pound Spur from 0-60 mph in less than five seconds and up to a top speed of 194 mph. The 2011 Bentley Flying Spur exudes refinement and sophistication in its driving experience. Strong, silent, and fast, the Spur quietly glides over road imperfections and is unruffled at 100-mph-plus speeds. The steering's without much sensation, but the Spur is incredibly stable at speed.

2011 Bentley Continental GTC

The 2011 Bentley Continental GTC 80-11 features new 20-inch 14-spoke alloy diamond wheels with black center caps with the "B" emblem. The GTC Speed 80-11 gets 20-inch wheels.
Cabin details include Beluga leather with contrast stitching. The aluminum dashboard has a bright finish in the GTC and a sportier dark finish for the GTC Speed. Drilled alloy sport pedals are standard on the model.

The GTC is equipped with a twin-turbo 6.0-liter W12 engine that produces 552 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. The GTC Speed model also uses the same powertrain tweaked to 600 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque.

2011 Bentley Mulsame

Getting the inspiration from some of the greatest of W.O. Bentley’s creations of previous years, Bentley manufacturer creates the 2011 Mulsanne with its own echoes of that remarkable era. This is a car that makes the joy of driving its central focus, that is, whether you are behind the wheel or as a passenger, every journey is an event with Mulsame.

The model is a 4-door, 5-seat Sedan.  The model is introduced with the equipment of a standard 6.8L, 8-cylinder, engine that achieves 11-mpg in the city and 18-mpg on the highway.

The Continental GT is one of Bentley's sexiest machines ever, and the brand's best-selling model because Bentley's engineering and design teams have invested countless development hours and hundreds of millions of dollars to craft what you see here: a cleaner, more powerful and oh-so-much-sexier Continental GT coupe.

Contrary to how it might appear, Bentley officials maintain that the 2011 Bentley Continental GT is an all-new model, not simply a refresh. This is true but there are still some new, seductive details, like staggered bi-xenon headlamps and jeweled LED daytime running lights. With its sweeping position set well into the thick front shoulders, the ensemble emphasizes speed. Seamless super-formed aluminum panels utilize no welding, allowing for deeply cut, traditional power lines to run unimpeded from ahead of the front wheel wells to the muscular haunches.

Bentley's engineers say their revised powerhouse gives "instantly accessible supercar performance across the complete rev range." The four-camshaft, 48-valve mill employs lighter, low-friction internals that shed 143 pounds off the outgoing engine and bump up power by 15 horses and 37 pound-feet of torque (for a total of 516 pound-feet) versus the outgoing coupe. A modified six-speed ZF 6HP28 transmission shifts in around 200 milliseconds and uses a strengthened planetary gear set for longevity in all situations and conditions. It can now double downshift (say, from sixth to fourth gear) while rev-matching for improved power delivery to all four wheels.

Furthermore, a "high-output" V-8 engine arrives in late 2011 with the promise of a 40-percent efficiency gain over the W-12. With both mills, Bentley continues its commitment to Flex Fuel capability. Each mill operates on gasoline, ethanol (up to E85), or any mixture of the two. A Fuel Quality Sensor constantly measures available fuel and adjusts the engine's timing for a seamless power delivery. Yet even with a light right foot and sustainable fuel onboard, the 55-pound-lighter 6.0-liter coupe manages only 12 mpg city/19 mpg highway.

Regarding interior design of Bentley Continental GT 2011, each piece is handcrafted in the name of quality and exclusivity. New-for-2011 "Cobra" seats lose some bulk but gain ventilation and massaging functions. Rear passengers benefit from two additional inches of legroom, which isn't much, but in the Bentley's tight cabin, it's a welcome improvement. Acoustic glazing, floor shields, and anti-vibration panels keep unwanted noise outside and the Naim stereo's crystal-clear sound inside.

Occupants can adjust audio, phone, ride comfort, and navigation settings on the 8-inch color touch screen. The disc and hard-drive-based navigation system run the easy-to-use Google Maps interface.

I guess Bentley enthusiasts are becoming crazy about this model of prominences with the above descriptions. Given what Bentley has revealed thus far, the 2011 Continental GT has what it takes to continue its reign as rich people's chariot of choice. And with a revised W-12 and a cleaner (and cheaper) V-8 edition coming soon, we wouldn't be surprised if a few new-to-the-brand buyers wire a deposit and sign their names to a yearlong wait list. The model really deserves it.
