BENTLEY SUPERSPORT CONTINENTAL CARS

BENTLEY SUPERSPORT CONTINENTAL
“GREEN ROAD ROCKETS” BY BENTLEY

We all know that sports are contests of skill in which a winner emerges, but what are supersports?

Bentley, a brand associated with opulence and excess, has found their own answer to this question by their new models called Bentley GT Continential Supersports. Judging from the Bentley Continential Supersports, which pairs the automaker’s expected refinement and elegance with supercollider acceleration and centrifugal corner stickiness, Supersports are something altogether more strange, like a mixture of various sports. Indeed, Bentley Supersport s show us how living with a supercar differs from the others. With the aim of pursuing the desire to reach new limits, Bentley introduced these Supersports models to represent a perfect relationship between engineering and design with the enhanced iconic GT looks reflecting and heightening the supercar performance.

The Supersports Coupe

It is said that Bentley magically created the monster that powers its new Continential Supersports Coupe, which is a so-called rocket on the road of all cars with the top speed of 204 mph. Also, Supersports Coupe is really a “green machine” including 590 pound-feet of delicious torque and 0-60 mph acceleration of 3.7 seconds.

Bentley Supersports Coupe offers two lavish seats, which differentiate itself with Bentley Supersports Convertible. The interior is rated excellent. It is well-crafted and well appointed with the finest materials known inside any car.

As for the exterior of this Bentley, “modern and sleek” may be the two most impressions on users. While the curvy roof slopes gently to the back and the steeply raked windshield provides a sharp edge to the car's profile, other parts look like oversized Lego blocks and chunky sections. “If you added two little wings, the Supersports could substitute as the space shuttle.”

Bentley is really successful with the mission to create a Supersports Coupe much lighter than Continental GT, losing 243 pounds over any other GT. Nevertheless, the weight seems not to be an issue when it launches. The 16.5-inch disc carbon ceramic cross-drilled brakes in the front make stopping as easy as accelerating. It's a rocket with laser-like precision on the road. The body doesn't move at all through hot corners because its air suspension and computer controlled shocks instantly adjust to the road. The big 20-inch tires claw into the road, and the all-wheel drive system dampens out any other problem you may encounter.

The Supersports Convertible

Similar to members of the Continental family, this Supersports Convertible is relaxed and tremendously composed at supersonic highway speeds.
While the coupe benefits further from the loss of its rear seats, in the convertible, those seats house the rollover protection hoops. The convertible Supersports gains all the performance tweaks first seen on the coupe version of the Supersports, and it is around 155kg more than its brother, Supersports Coupe.

“The ‘extreme’ Bentley stable now has a new occupant in the form of the Supersports Convertible,” said Dr. Ulrich Eichhorn, Member of the Board, Engineering. “It is a car every bit as purposeful and potent as the Coupé but with the panache of roof-down motoring.”
