The Problem: The outlet flange of the fuel tank on certain Jaguar XF sedans could crack, resulting in a fuel leak that could lead to a vehicle fire.
The Fix: Jaguar will notify owners to bring their affected vehicles to dealers to replace fuel tank outlet flanges. The recall is expected to begin around December 7, 2012. For more information, owners may contact Jaguar at 800-452-4827.
Number of Vehicles Potentially Affected: The recall covers approximately 4195 Jaguar XF models with the 5.0-liter engine from the 2010 to 2012 model years.
